Cancellation & Refund Policy
Last updated: 30 September 2026
Plans change and life happens. This page explains how rescheduling and refunds work for everything you can pay for here. The short version is that session fees stay with the session rather than coming back, and in exchange I am genuinely flexible about when we actually meet.
What this covers
Everything below applies to the paid things on this site: the 30 and 60 minute 1:1 sessions, and the two consulting programmes, Case Mastery and Case Foundations. The consulting programmes have their own section further down, because they do not work the same way: you fill in the form from the page and pay me directly, not through this website.
You choose a session on the website and the button opens my enquiry form. I get back to you with a payment link, and once you have paid we agree a time. Calls happen on Google Meet.
If your plans change
Once you have paid, the fee stays with your session rather than coming back to you. I hold that slot for you from the moment you book it, and I would rather say so clearly here than have it come as a surprise later.
What you get in return is real flexibility about when it happens. If you cannot make your slot, tell me in the same conversation we used to book, and we will find another one. There is no fee for moving, no penalty, and your payment carries straight across. Nothing is lost. It just happens on a different day.
How rescheduling works
Ask to reschedule up to 1 hour before the start time and I will move you. If we can find another slot that works for both of us, your payment carries over to the new time. Nothing extra to pay.
This applies to the 1:1 sessions.
Emergencies
The one hour mark for rescheduling is a guideline, not a wall. Real emergencies do not check the clock first. If something genuinely unexpected happens close to the session, or even during it, message me and tell me what is going on. I will find you another slot.
If you cannot make it on the day
A quick message is all I need, even a few minutes before. Tell me you cannot make it and we will find another time. There is nothing more to it than that.
If you do not join and I have not heard from you at all, that session counts as used, because I kept the time free and waited. Even then, get in touch afterwards and tell me what happened. If the reason is a fair one I will usually still find you another slot.
Joining late
A session runs for the length it was booked for. If you join late, I will use whatever time is left as well as I can, but I cannot promise to run past the original end time, because there may be someone booked after you. If my calendar happens to be clear I will usually be happy to continue.
Repeated changes
All of this is built on trust, and I would like to keep it that way. The flexibility above has no fine print because I do not expect to need any. If someone does end up using it in a way that is clearly unfair, I may ask to settle on a fixed time rather than keep moving it. I expect this to be rare.
If I have to cancel
If I need to cancel a session you have paid for, you choose what happens next. I will either refund you in full or move the session to another time that suits you, whichever you prefer.
How refunds are sent, and how long they take
Refunds go back through the same method you paid with. I will start the refund within 2 working days of us agreeing it, and usually the same day.
Once I have sent it, how long it takes to appear in your account is between the payment app and your bank, and it is outside my control. It is usually quick. If it has been longer than a few days, message me and I will send you the reference so you can chase it.
Outcomes are not refundable
The fee pays for my time and attention during the session. It is not tied to any result. As set out in the Terms of Use, I cannot guarantee scores, admissions, offers or any other outcome, so a session cannot be refunded on the basis that a result did not follow.
That said, if you feel a session genuinely did not deliver what was promised, tell me. I would rather hear it than not.
The consulting programmes
Case Mastery and Case Foundations run as a cohort over two months, starting on a fixed date with everyone together. That makes them different from a single session, so they have their own rule.
You can ask for a full refund within 24 hours of paying. No reason needed and nothing to justify. Tell me inside that window, in the same conversation we used to arrange your payment, and the whole amount comes back to you.
After those 24 hours the fee is not refundable. A cohort is planned around the people in it, and once that window closes your place is held for the full two months whether or not you attend every class.
Two things worth knowing. Nothing is paid until you have messaged me and I have sent you the price, so there is no way to pay by accident. And if you miss a live class, the recording is there, so a busy week does not cost you the session.
If I have to cancel the cohort before it begins, you get a full refund regardless of when you paid.
Changes to this policy
I may update this page as things evolve. Any change applies to bookings made after the change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
Getting in touch
For anything about a cancellation, reschedule or refund, tell me in the same conversation we used to book, so the context is already there. If you have not booked yet, use the enquiry form. You can also find me on LinkedIn and Instagram.
